Katherine Froggatt is the Chief Investigator on the Namaste Trial study.  She has a background in nursing and applied health research.  She is a Professor of Ageing and Palliative Care at the International Observatory on End of Life Care at Lancaster University and has particular expertise in the area of palliative care for older people.  For the last 15 years she has undertaken research on palliative care provision in care homes, including for people with dementia.
